Dean L. Phelps, 89, of Ashland, Ore. passed away November 12, 2015. He was compassionate, funny, intelligent, and a true gentleman. His dedication to family, education, and community touched many throughout a lifelong career as a cultural geography teacher and advocacy worker for those in need.
He will be missed every day by his wife and best friend of 68 years, Jeanie; their five children; and twelve beloved grandchildren.
A memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 N. 2nd St, Ashland, Ore. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church Outreach Fund for Women and Children, at the address above.
