A tasty luncheon buffet, a chance to renew old friendships and an excellent presentation by Ken Goddard, Director of the Forensics Lab in Ashland were the highlights of the fall meeting on Friday 25 October in Stevenson Union.

SOU President Elizabeth Zinser, Dean of Arts and Letters Ed Batistella, Dean of Sciences Joe Graf, and VP for Institutional Development Paul Smith represented the administration.  Emeritus president James Dean announced our new scholarship fund-raising effort, currently in the endowment generation phase.  He also solicited volunteers to assist in planning the winter emeritus event which is expected to have an international flavor
