James Robertson Obituary

Dr. James Brereton Robertson, 87, passed away October 31, 2016. James was the son of Alice and James and had two sisters, Joy and Frann.

Jim was a psychology professor at Southern Oregon University for 25 years. He traveled the world and was a political activist. He cared deeply for the environment and equal rights for women and children. He loved to write poetry and dabbled as an artist on canvas.

He is a combat veteran of the Korean War.

Jim passed away in his home surrounded by family.

He is survived by three daughters, Becky, Bonnie, and Barbara; 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, November 6 beginning at 3 p.m. at the SOU Hannon Library 1250 Siskiyou Blvd. Ashland, Oregon, 97520 in the Meese Room. Any Questions call 916-849-0203.
