Additional Emeritus News Notes Unfortunately, we didn’t have room in the Spring Emeritus Newsletter for all news notes, so chose to include remaining items here. Ron Taylor says his hobby seems to be attending memorial services. His musician son has signed a contract with the pit orchestra for the New Schubert Theater in New York City. Stu Turner continues to perform with a large, 18 or 20 piece jazz band in the Rogue Valley, while Alice was a featured soloist during the Repertory Singers’ "Mozart’s Birthday Bash." Roger Weeks enjoys listening to short wave broadcasts in Russian and German, and on occasion he works for trial lawyers as a handwriting expert, testifying in cases involving forgery or other illegal practices.
